Do I have a Gambling Problem?

Take the Three-Step Self-Evaluation

One of the first steps of tackling addiction is simply acknowledging the problem. It’s also one of the harder steps for some, especially if you don’t know the signs. This quick self-evaluation (the Brief Biosocial Gambling Screen, or BBGS) follows the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV) criteria for gambling addiction. Scoring is simple— a yes to any of the three questions indicates a potential problem with gambling and should be followed up with further evaluation or help from a professional.
